Terms and Conditions
By booking a service with TechNext Repairs, you agree to the following terms:
1.0 Hardware-Only Services
All services provided are strictly hardware-related. This includes physical repairs, modifications, and upgrades to gaming consoles and PCs. We do not offer or support any software installations, game files, backups, or firmware modifications.
2.0 End-User Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for understanding the potential risks or limitations associated with modifying or repairing their own devices. It is up to the end user to ensure any use of modified hardware complies with local laws, terms of service, and warranty agreements.
3.0 Warranty
All hardware services are covered by a 14-day limited workmanship warranty, beginning on the date the item is returned to the customer. This covers hardware faults directly resulting from installation or repair work performed by TechNext Repairs.
This warranty does not cover:
• User damage after return (e.g., drops, moisture, tampering)
• Software/firmware-related issues
• Damage caused by counterfeit memory cards, accessories, or peripherals
4.0 Shipping
Customers are responsible for shipping their devices to the designated Parcel Collect address. Return shipping will be arranged by TechNext Repairs using tracked services, and tracking will be provided upon dispatch. We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged parcels during shipping.
5.0 Payments
All payments must be made in full before work is commenced. Once services are rendered, refunds will not be provided unless due to a fault caused by our workmanship.
6.0 Refusal of Service
TechNext Repairs reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including suspected misuse, unrealistic expectations, or abusive communication.
Refunds
At TechNext Repairs, we stand by the quality of our workmanship. Please review our refund policy before placing an order:
1.0 No Refunds After Work Commences,
Once work has begun on your device, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or user-side issues. This includes situations where a customer changes their mind after shipment or installation has already started.
2.0 Workmanship Guarantee
If your device experiences a hardware issue directly related to our service (e.g. poor soldering, faulty part installed), you are eligible for a free repair or replacement within 14 days of return, provided:
• You notify us immediately upon noticing the issue.
• The device shows no signs of tampering or user damage after return.
• The issue is confirmed to be caused by our service and not external factors.
3.0 Shipping Costs,
Shipping costs are non-refundable, including return shipping fees. If a refund is approved due to an error on our part, it will exclude shipping fees unless agreed upon in writing.
4.0 Rejected or Abandoned Devices,
If a device is sent in and the customer becomes unresponsive after 30 days (from time of first contact attempt), the device may be considered abandoned, and we reserve the right to recycle or dispose of it.
Legal disclaimer
By sending in your device to TechNext Repairs, you agree to the following:
• TechNext Repairs provides hardware-only services. We do not assist with software, games, firmware changes, or digital content of any kind.
• Any device modification is done at the customer’s request and at their own risk. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand the implications of modifying hardware, including warranty voiding, service bans, or legal limitations.
• TechNext Repairs does not condone piracy and assumes no responsibility for how a customer uses their hardware after service.
• Customers are expected to do their own research and accept responsibility for any legal or warranty-related consequences related to modified hardware.
• TechNext Repairs is not affiliated with or endorsed by any console or hardware manufacturers, including but not limited to Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, or Valve.
